I had the pleasure of presenting to the Moorestown (New Jersey) Garden Club this past October.  The theme was “Farm to Table Flower Arranging”. Beautiful autumn flowers, berries and pods were combined with fresh vegetables to create a variety of table-scape ideas for the coming holiday season. Although these designs focused on the warm hues of the autumn season, I explained how with a few tweaks they could easily transition to a winter table setting. When I present to garden clubs I like to have the designs nearly complete. I set my presentation as if the designs look finished. I explain the concept behind the design and then for the dramatic “WOW” factor I add a little something to dazzle and impress. You can see by my facial expressions that I truly enjoyed this presentation as did the members of the garden club.
